Annpurna base camp trekking package best price

Receiving over 100,000 tourists every year, trekking here is considered to be one of the most classic treks in the world. The whole region of Annapurna, including the Annapurna massif falls under the Annapurna Conservation Area, and is home to the elusive Snow Leopard and Red Panda, as well as blue sheep - which are very common along the Annapurna trails. The green and lush pine and rhododendron forests harbor a vast diversity of avian faunas. Himalayan griffon, the national birds of Nepal, can be seen soaring above the skies surrounding the Annapurna massif.

Your adventure begins today. Please be informed, that you might have to face a long queue for immigration clearance and it gets messy during baggage collection. It’s a common scenario due to the lack of proper infrastructure and the high volume of tourists’ inflow during the peak season. However be assured about the helpful airport staff and friendly Nepali people around you. Our representative will be there to receive/greet you. Just look around to locate our company’s logo at the placard. You will be transferred to hotel. There will be full briefing in the evening.

Overnight at Hotel 3 Star Hotel Category.
Breakfast Included.

The drive is about one hour from Pokhara to Kadhe. It is approximately 5–6 hours of trek to reach Pothana from Kadhe. The trail goes through the deep forest passing Dhampus. Dhampus is a beautiful village from where we can see spectacular views of Annapurna ranges, Fishtail, Mt Manaslu and the beautiful valley.

Trail to Pothana From Dhampus the trail gradually climbs up through the rain forest and tiny villages of Pothana. Pothana is a beautiful Gurung village where one can delight in scenic landscape.
From Pothana the trail ascends upto Deurali and descends to Bherikharka through forests. Landruk village that follows on the way is rich in culture. The trail after Landruk descends to Modi khola and ascends all the way to Chhomrong Village via Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda is famous for hot spring. Chhomrong is a big Gurung village, offering the view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Fishtail.

Overnight at Simple lodge [B/L/D]
The day’s trail falls through a stone staircase and crosses Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge. High above the Modi Khola on its west bank, the trail passes through the tiny settlement of Tilicho. Climbing further on a rocky trail takes you to Sinuwa(2350m.), then to Kuldi(2520m.). There was once a British sheep breeding project which is now a ACAP visitor centre and a check post. Descend a long, steep stone staircase into deep forest to land at Bamboo!
Trek from Bamboo to Deurali ascend through bamboo forests, rhododendron (during its season) and oak trees. The first town you reach is Dovan where there are few lodges and camp sites. Then it passes through muddy trail which traverses high above the river. There is debris of avalanches except during winter season.

After short trek, you will reach at Himalayan Hotel, the town named after the hotel. The trail leads steeply up to Hinko Cave. Hinko Cave is a huge overhanging rock providing shelter against rain and avalanches to the passersby. Deurali is approximately 20 minutes far now.
The trek to Annapurna Base Camp goes via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3820m.). The valley starts widening and getting less steeper, and you can see the gate to the sanctuary. As the trail continues, it crosses two avalanche tracks on a narrow trail that hurdles up against the cliffs. Then a short trek leads you to Bagar- a meadow and few abandoned hotels.

The normal trail follows the left side of the valley. Now the trail gently ascends unto Machhapuchhare Base Camp(MBC). MBC offers around 6 to 7 lodges with the view of Mount Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail). The path follows through alpine meadow before you begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp(ABC). ABC offers 360 degree view of magnificent Himalayas around.

It is quite a relief descending down to reach Sinuwa, then trek through Himalayan Hotel upto Dovan.

A descend up to Bamboo passes through forests with varieties of rhododendron during its season, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail shoots steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar and after which the trail is quite flat until Sinuwa. A roller coaster trek descend again to Chhomrong Khola and follows stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhomrong.
The trail stretches at flat level for nearly an hour passing through terraces, then gradually sinks down till Kimrung Khola. The trail then keeps on ascending until Kimrung Hill. Then the path again descends gently all the way to Ghandruk village. Handicraft center, landscape and a Gurung museum is a major attraction at this Gurung Village.

The trek is steeply down following stone staircase to Kimbu (Bee hive). Kimbu is located at the elevation of 1200 meters on the bank of Modi Khola. Then the trail steeply ascends following the stone staircase up to Landruk.

We trek through dense forest passing through Deurali, and from this point you can see panoramic view of Dhaulagiri I (8167m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), Fishtail (6997m.), Annapurna III (7755m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.) and Lamjung Himal (6930m.). The rest of the trail descends gently down. Pothana village (1900m.) comes just before Australian camp.

After spectacular sunrise from Kande, we trek for 1 hour to head back to Pokhara. Then 30 mins of drive to Pokhara and Fly Back to Kathmandu.
