We head out of Kathmandu early morning – the lush green valley that extends till far away is a welcome change from Kathmandu’s hustle and bustle. Enjoy the scenic route as we pass through the gentle hills, the meandering highway, and the occasional settlement - a beautiful glimpse into Nepal’s culture. Soon, we are joined by the gushing Trishuli – the river we will be rafting upon after some time.
Arrive at Charuda/Malinga and after a small ‘safety briefing’ we are all set to begin our day’s adventure. The ride will be calm initially, occasionally picking up speed as per the drift of the water. A few bumpy rapids offer a wonderful trailer of the upcoming adventure. Soon enough, you will hear the instructor asking you to brace yourselves. We will listen to his instructions, paddling as he commands, as we tackle the increasing rapids. Each rapid you cross is going to be an exhilarating experience.
After an estimated three hour rafting experience down the river, we dry ourselves, enjoy a hot lunch and continue our road journey to Pokhara.
Overnight: Hotel, Pokhara.
A.M: Today, we are going into the heart of the Himalayas – at the base camp of Mt. Annapurna. A chartered helicopter will lift us off Pokhara, over the lake and into the mountains that lay directly ahead of us. We enjoy the scenic view as we enter through a narrow valley between Hiunchuli (6,441m) and Macchapuchhre (6,993m) – snow capped peaks surrounding us and a deep glacial valley below us – the ride is a thrilling experience.
We get off at Annapurna Base Camp, play with some snow, take some excellent photographs with the Annapurna in the background, and after spending approximately an hour in the heart of the Himalayas we head back to Pokhara.
P.M: After catching up on some rest, we continue with the day’s adventure – an aerial view of Pokhara on an ultra light aircraft. We take off from the airport, and soon find ourselves soaring above Pokhara - its lakes, the surrounding hills, the adjoining mountains, and the far away horizon.
Overnight: Hotel, Pokhara.
Today, we are scheduled for three activities – all exhilarating yet different at the same time.
Paragliding: Early morning, we will head to nearby Sarangkot. We will be introduced to our pilots, who will strap us on his chute and soon find the wind blowing over our face as we go further and climb higher. Soon, we are gliding above the lake, the pilot will ask you if you want to try some stunts – say yes, for they are a heart-throbbing experience. After an estimated half an hour, we will land just beside the lake.
Bungee Jumping: A seventy metre free fall from a bridge – how much more adventurous do you want to be? Nepal’s first and only tower Bungee, the jump is going to be epic – we jump from a platform into the deep valley below us, the river darting towards us as the wind drowns our screams.
Zip Flying: After the epic burst of adrenaline, we are now going to zip through the hills from 600 metres up in the air. Covering a distance of 1.8 km at a top speed of 140 km/hr, the ride is going to bring that burst of adrenaline right back in.
Overnight: Hotel, Pokhara
After a leisurely morning, we head towards the lake and enjoy a peaceful boat ride across the serene Phewa Lake. Once across, we arrive at the foot of a hill that we are soon going to hike upon. A short hike will lead us atop the hill where the World Peace Pagoda stands. From here, we enjoy sweeping views of the valley below us.
From Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda), we head towards Bumdi – a scenic trail through the forest to arrive at Lukum Swara; continue towards Bumdi Village, enjoying the peace that surrounds us.

After breakfast, we resume our trail – through the forest. Occasional views of the majestic Himalayan range in the distance are a beautiful sight, as you walk through an occasional field. Observe the local flora and fauna, as you enjoy a tranquil walk through the trail – hear the birds chirp and watch the beautiful flowers bloom. After a gentle ascent, we arrive at Panchase Bhanjyang – a quaint hillside village with the Himalayas as its backdrop.

Early morning, we climb up the nearby Panchase peak – enjoy an amazing sunrise view. Watch the golden ball rise from the east and cast heavenly rays of orange on the snow-white peaks – nothing is quite as magical as watching a Himalayan sunrise. Panchase peak offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan range.
After breakfast, we continue our trek, a gentle downhill walk to the village of Bhadaure. From Bhadaure, the walking trail expands to a motorable trail, follow the same until Naudhara.
We wake up early to catch another Himalayan sunrise – we yet again watch the sun do its magic on the Himalayan range ahead of us.
